Bridgeway Executes Long-Term CEO Succession Plan

Bridgeway Benefit Technologies LLC (Bridgeway) announced Todd Plesko, software technology veteran, has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. After a transition period, current CEO, Jenny Morgan, will retire and step down to serve as Chairman of the Board as part of Bridgeway’s long-term succession plan. Under Plesko the Company is positioned to continue to grow and scale its comprehensive suite of technology services to the multiemployer sector.

Morgan transitions to Executive Advisor and Chairman of the Board of Directors


After conducting a nationwide search for Bridgeway’s next CEO, Morgan and the Board of Directors cited Plesko’s deep software industry experience and strong leadership abilities as key attributes that will enable him to guide Bridgeway through its next evolution as the foremost technology provider in the Taft-Hartley benefits administration market. “When I met Todd and heard him speak about his passion and experience working with customers and staff to grow and scale software businesses, I knew he was the right person for Bridgeway. Todd is both decisive and personable which is a great combination for a leader in this market. We are thrilled to have him on board, and I am confident that the company is in good hands with Todd and the team at Bridgeway,” said Morgan.

Plesko brings a 27-year career to Bridgeway as CEO of several software-as-a-service companies ranging from start-up to mature growth-oriented organizations. He has deep expertise in healthcare software, including provider solutions, supply chain, integration and middleware, and clinical communications solutions. Raised in the Midwest by a blue-collar union family, Plesko’s personal roots have bolstered his commitment to organized labor and supporting its members and families. He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Central Michigan University and an MBA from Indiana Institute of Technology.

Jenny Morgan_125 x150 ThumbnailMorgan, served as CEO of basys LLC for 13 years and most recently guided the Company through the successful merger of basys and Innovative Software Solutions (ISSI) Inc to form Bridgeway Benefit Technologies in 2022. During her tenure she established and expanded the product roadmap highlighted by significant capabilities for automating the benefit administration process and enhancing member services, championed enterprise-wide data security through the implementation of a SO2 (Service Organization Control 2) compliant hosting environment and doubled the size of the Company’s workforce to support its growing client base and expanded service capabilities.

Morgan will remain employed as an Executive Advisor during the transition to ensure continuity of leadership and become its next Chairman of the Board, where she will focus on strategic planning and corporate development and continue to provide her knowledge and experience to the management team.
